Likely, you need to start by adding a good 50% (or more) to the "Final Airflow Minimum vs. RPM vs. Gear table." Highlight the Park/Neutral cells and multiply by 1.5 to see if that helps.

Help me understand why this combination should need so much more airflow than the OE tune. I wouldn't think it should need much of any changes to start up and idle, he hasn't changed the motor at all. The intake tract has changed a bunch, so I could understand the MAF curve being out of wack, but running on pure VVE I would think it should run pretty normal - I just would stay away from the boost till your ready to do some WOT tuning.

The light bulb question has already been asked, but not yet answered - were the fuel injectors changed? If yes, you GOTTA have that injector data in place before anything is gonna work right.
