The driver's mirror, well, you're close enough to it to get a wide view.

I'm very surprised that people just don't get this concept.
I get this concept, and I knew that all along. My question wasn't "why does my passenger mirror say this?" it was why does ONLY the passenger mirror say this. Yes, the driver mirror is not as convex as the passenger, but images still appear differently as far as depth goes. My last car had the warning on both mirrors, so that why I was wondering why the camaro only had it on one.

I personally hate it. I wish they would just put a regular mirror there. It throws off my depth perception.

I've personally never seen it on the drivers side mirror.

what was your last car?? whatever it was, u need to sue the company if your drivers side mirror made things seem slightly further away....i've never seen that on the drivers side of ANY car, it should only be on the passanger side

I've had this on every passenger mirror of every vehicle I've owned except for my Ram. And it's probably not on my Rams mirror because it's the towing mirror and it's frakking huge.

If you see yourself in the rearview mirror while driving you would just be vain.

Although in my universe everything revolves around me. I think its called the MemyselfI-centric theory.

Good point. but i still dont get what that means by the objects in mirror are losing. so everyone in the backseat and behind my car are losers?

I was going to comment on this fact but you beat me too it. I always thought it was common knowledge why it only says it on the passanger mirror.

ummmm. okay. basically its a reminder that anyone "driving" a car behind you is there because they cant keep up, thus they are losing! Not trying to be a smart ass here but its kinda obvious what it means.
