You guys know how many times I've contemplated trading in mine. As annoying and atrocious riding as it is to drive on regular roads, when the roads clear up and you can unleash it, its just such a raw & visceral experience. And another Z isn't the same Z.

Kept the GX and love it. Plenty of head and legroom in an old school body on frame SUV with the uber durable Tundra engine (4.6 V8 that recently clocked 1 mil miles in a 2nd Tundra). I drove a couple of other vehicles and the new age infotainment systems with super complex interfaces that are operated by a mouse gave me a headache.

Good news - great to get back and just enjoy it! I have only had a few cars I sold and wished I had back - 996 GT2, 993 GT3 Cup, 1988 BMW M5 - the Z will not join this group of sold and missed - they just don't make cars like this anymore - old school fun at a bargain price!

Glad you got it back! I sold my 2014 and regretted it, unfortunately it got stolen from the dealer I sold it to and stripped. I now have a 2015 and don't plan on getting rid of it, it's truly a one of a kind car.

Great story. Glad you got your Z back. I flip some of my old photos and most cars I’ve had come and go but even to this day I regret and miss my 89 I-ROC Z. Your Z is part of your family now. Keep her and enjoy the ride.

Only trade ins exceptable: 911 turbo, Cayman GT4, Viper, Vette, GT350, ZL1 1LE, Ferrari etc.... or add those on to the Z. Glad you're back in it. They definitely won't make something like this anymore.

I thought was only crazy one! I trade my z/28 in August of 2017 for 2017 hellcat challenge and couple months later I realized made mistake. So April 2018 looking at white z/28 where I live in Ohio About pull the trigger following weekend and my son sends me link from Cadillac dealership Fayetteville North Carolina has my old Z/28! Long story short I worked deal traded hellcat for my Z/28. Makes me first and second owner.

That’s awesome! Remember in 5 years to save $$ and time just resell to yourself for the third owner and so on and so forth. A hellcat for an old 5th gen Z, I like it!! I just found my dream Z and bought it still keeping my V6 one as well.
