Yes. That’s what I’m thinking if I do e85, since the e85 content is more like e70 or less.

Well. You're gonna need a fuel system regardless so you may as well just do it once and get something that will support 1000hp plus with E. Over 700whp and expect you'll be rebuilding the engine, when you rebuild you'll want more since you'll be able to handle it at that point. Then e85, forged, more boost maybe meth...

This is a street application correct? I'm still not sold on long-term effects of high ethanol content fuel. I would say in a race application go for it since tear downs/rebuilds occur at sooner intervals. For street longevity I would be reluctant to go in that direction. The 700-800HP some of these folks are getting on pump gas ain't too shabby.

If you talk with some of the vendors here you might find an AGP dual pump kit isn't that much more... and will support 1000 on E.

I wouldnt let 93 octane come near my car anymore. I can't.
Just wanted to clarify. Now that Ted has properly tuned my Flex Fuel, I can run 93 if I wanted to. However there is always an E85 pump just a 1/4 mile down the road in South Florida.

E85 is a great fuel when having boost. Added sensor and everything else that needs to go along with it in my turbo 4cyl STI. E85 can have a range from E50 to E85. That's why a sensor is important. If not using a sensor and you tune at E70, then at 93 or E50 you'll be rich and at E85 you'll be lean. You should gain more than 30-50 hp/tq. With just an intake and exhaust from the turbo back, going from 93 to E85, I picked 25hp and 40ftlbs at the wheels on a Mustang Dyno. Ethanol content was about 80%. And this is only on a 2.5 liter with an oem turbo that runs out of puff. You have way more potential.

If you have a flex fuel sensor you can run either or both. Your system will automatically adjust. E85 is really cheap in my part of town so no real reason to run anything else.

I’ve heard many times people say to run 91-93 for a week a fill up once or twice a month due too the cleaning properties of it.
