My gf who lives in Spain today found out that when calculating inheritance tax they apply a progressive scale which can vary from about 7% to as much as 34% depending on the size of the taxable base. So it is possible to lose 1/3 of the heritage in Spain. I didn't believe until found the proof https://virtoproperty.com/info/inher...d-law-in-spain Quite shoking actually!

My dog died (May7)
3 surgeries (all of July) Mother in law passed 8/16 (very nice lady) 2020 is $h!t me sad
