I still have the pics we took down here as my desktop on 2 different computers at work. Great pictures, great times, great friendships that will last a lifetime.... all because of a great car.

Thanks for all the pictures, info, insight, everything you've given to us.
Heres to you and what the future may hold for us as a community!

Great post. I have done projects spanning several years. Everytime when they are over there is great feeling of satisfaction. But there is also a let down, an empty feeling, like losing something you worked so hard for. You should be very proud of the Camaro and confident that the next project will start soon and be exciting.

I remember it clearly

Followed all your posts and travels. The appearance of #3 on Camaro5.com was a major landmark for Camaro5.com, I think. It allowed us R6P people to finally see what we had blindly put $$$ down on! I remember the excitement of seeing your photos, and reviews. You did us all a huge favor by sharing. Thanks for all you've done to keep the fire burning before production even started.

I was on of the crazies out at the McDonald's that frosting morning in Fenton(St Louis MO). This was about 2 months after I placed my sight unseen, price kinda known, order; because I had faith. It was quite the thrill. It was also the day that I found out that my camera was dieing and was only able to get a couple of clear pictures GRRR.

Your post made me look at the calendar to see just what day that was. And what I found was not that date, but that today is the 6 month anniversary of picking up my baby. If not for your post I may have let the day pass without recognizing it. So once again:::

Thanks Jim.

I'm glad you decided to hang around even after the CTF's were gone.

Good sense of humor too...still laughing about "Spike and the tootsie pop"

Hey Number 3

Can't believe it has been a year either...We hit a similar storm leaving Canada and Michigan, then ice in Ohio...but all so worth it!

I agree the "roadtrip" was an experience that will last a lifetime. We met so many nice people (in person and here on C5). And I know what you mean about feelin like the "spouse" of a rockstar..lol.

We turned in our last Camaro months ago and left Oshawa at the end of October, but I still can't stay away from C5 for long...

No roadtrip this year (first year in 6 we are staying put for xmas), but that way be a good thing...I just don't think the trip would be the same in an Escalade!

I've been thinking about your post for days and reflecting on all that has happened during the last year.

I remember the excitement of the March meeting at Camp Ticonderoga and seeing my first IOM on the way.

I just happened to have the camera sitting on the seat next to me.

But what I'll never forget is when you turned to me and ask "would you like to go for a ride?"

I don't think I could have answered faster than I did!

Crazy me had put all my faith in this car. I ordered a SS in IOM in October 2008 before I even sat in one or knew what IOM would look like.

That ride told me everything I needed to know and I was on cloud nine for the longest time.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for all the information, inspiration, and memories you've brought to the C5 family!

Merry Christmas!

Thor
