You have to take time into consideration as well.

Coolant is 150K miles or 5 years whichever come first. Oil change depends on usage. Lots of short city trips would be under severe service. Also, if you don't accumulate that many miles and/or store the car for half the year like some here in the snowbelt, then every 12 months would be required if you didn't hit the 5-7k mileage interval.

It's a 7-8 year old car with 97k miles. Sitting in the garage isn't an issue.

My 2013 has 15k miles and different usage. These intervals are not valid.
I have changed my oil/filter 15 times. Trans and diff 3x. Coolant 1x. Cleaned/recharged air filter 3x.

Forgive my ignorance, an 8 year owner is considered brand new?

After seeing this topic I thought it would be a good time to ask. My situation is very different than the gent that asked the original question . I have a ‘10 RS, bought it new. Have only 13,000 miles on it. I’ve been changing the oil by time and not mileage. Basically changed once a year. That’s what the dealer and others have recommended. Car is 10 years old , should I now change coolant, trans and diff fluid? I try to get the car out in the winter without going out in snow etc . Also would you change the oil in the spring when I drive it more or in the fall? Thx for the help folks.

It still is even at 97K miles. Remember, it's 5 years or 150K miles WHICHEVER comes first. Since it's a 7-8 year old car now, the coolant should have been changed out 2-3 years ago.

Just sayin'.....
