I love the way these look. IMO, GM took a step back with the Gen 6. I think the Gen 5 is a better looking car, especially the Z/28. The Gen 6 rear end is awkward. I do like the modern tail lights of the Gen 6 so I guess I have the best of both now.

I will be adding a pair to mine this weekend. I will keep my frontend Gen 5.

I thought the 2010-2013 taillights looked good and the first time I saw them I thought Corvette inspired, then when the 2014-2015 came out, my first impression was, Why did they do that? Kinda ugly.

I recently bought by accident 6th gen Camaro taillights for my 2015Rs (not 5th gen that look like 6th gen).

Is there any chance they can work? Or I shouldn’t even try it and I should just return them.
I’m not very familiar with either cars yet so why they wouldn’t fit?

If they are from an actual 6th gen, then no. They won't work.

It’s a knock off but supposedly for a gen 6 as a replacement.
Not a genuine GMC one though. That makes any difference?

If they fit the hole, wiring could be done easy. I did similar conversion in part of wiring. Tail lights made for AM attached to my EU. Both for gen 5th, but wirings were completly different. Did that job easy for a couple of holidays
