stolen from wiki:

For 2011, Ford is revising the Mustang's base V6 engine. The new V6 will be a smaller 3.7 L aluminum block engine weighing 40 lb (18 kg) lighter than the outgoing version, and produces a much more powerful 305 hp (227 kW) and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) of torque. [36] Addtionally for 2011 the Mustang will be revising the the V8 powertrain. The current 4.6L V8 will be replaced by an all new 5.0L V8. Recently the horsepower figure has been leaked revealing that this new engine will have 412 hp (307 kW). The torque figure is estimated at 390. The engine will feature advance technologies such as TI-VCT; however direct injection will not be part of the package.

Dam...that looks good. Dam good. have to say ford did a number on this one. See what competition brings ? Why GM ?? Why did you not release the Camaro in 08 ?? I may have this beauty in my stang instead

Heh the return of the 5.0 badge. Glad they did not try some new school style....the original 5.0 badge will be just fine.

It's not exactly the same at the previous version, but close. Numbers on the Foxes were more square versus the more rounded version on the 2011.

Honestly I think the car look's great in black but if it is any other color then the rear does look a bit off. I'm still not sure wich will be my next car, a Corvette C6 vert, or this in a vert.
I feel the same about the Camaro. It looks, IMO, best in black and orange. The other colors do nothing for me on the car. The rear of the Camaro, again IMO, is the worst part of the design.

i feel that way about the rear on a lot of cars. its either too plain, too busy, or just ugly. few cars have the proper balance.

and thats a beautiful engine, hopefully by the time its out ill be pushing 400 hp as well.

Out of the big three, the Camaro lost the "Engine Bay sex appeal contest" imho

but it's about what these badboys can do rite ?

I don't like the Camaro's engine bay AT ALL. Not sure who designed it...

The 5.0L/SRT's are VERY bad ass looking..... If I had to pick which was better I'd lean towards the 5.0L.... very cool looking.

Looks and sounds good, but it's always and forever a Camaro for me. The engine bay looks good indeed, but it still utlizes ornamentation to cover the area around the top of the cylinders. So it's not all guts-n'-show.

I think its going to be like the 80s-90s where the mustang and camaro were neck and neck.
