If I remember correctly, the rattle was caused by the valves themselves loosening up on the pins (or something like that) and there is/was a TSB to basically "glue" them. I don't know if this has been corrected in newer valves.

I don't know how effective the "fix" is either. I know many didn't have success. That's why I just got mine without it and stuck on an aftermarket. Non-npp rear diffuser and dual tips were not an issue for me though.

I don't have any rattle, at least not yet!

You're going to end up with a feature you don't like or miss out on something you really wanted because you're rushing.

If it's the latter, then take your time and understand these things before making a decision. And open up your distance to the entire country - if you GENUINELY want a specific car, you'll travel to get it and it will 100% be worth it. I drove a little over two hours to get mine and brought it home on a trailer. Knowing what I know now, I would drive pretty much about 1/3 of the way across the country doing the exact same thing. Any further, and I would likely do a fly and drive to get it home.
Agree with this...

I searched and searched for a 2019 2SS 1LE in December 2019. There were not any in Dallas/Fort Worth and the surrounding cities. I found a great deal in Kansas City, MO 8 hours (over 500 miles) away from me. I negotiated the price of travel into the cost of the car. I had air miles to burn so the flight was free anyway but they didn't know that. It was worth the day of travel to get the car I wanted plus a great deal.

NPP was designed to fill the void in the market for GM when they saw so many people buying aftermarket systems. BTW it is a very high profit item for GM....

If you also order MRC (which I recommend) the TRACK mode is MUCH stiffer in ride and steering. Sport mode is great (exhaust valves open most of the time). Tour mode is great for the highway...

Track mode for MRC definitely allows the car to corner much more tightly and "sure footedly", but I feel basically no difference in actual ride quality.

In my experience, the Sport mode is good if you like being aggressive around town but still quiet on highway. On the highways, I don't hear much in Sport mode. Touring is good if you don't want much noise at all, while Track seems to add some noise while you are cruising.

Seems like this post is going the way of all of his other ones... He posts a question and never returns to comment, answer questions, or follow up.

I don't disagree. But NPP is a topic that already has lots of great threads.

IMO, NPP is well worth the cost. I couldn’t own another Camaro without it.
