Sounds like you will be writing a check for $300. Keep it in perspective, man...
life goes on.

Number one, Never go our drinking with your buddies when driving your Camaro.. It never ends up good..

Secondly, Warrenty will never pay for dents unless it was done before delivery, then it usually isn't the warrenty, the dealer or transporting agent that created the dent pays for the damage..

I was told by some paintless dent removal places if the dent crosses a crease in the bodywork it will never look right, especially on a black car... You need to go to a professional body shop and get an opinion..

Considering the money invested into the car, 90% is just not going to cut it, I guess I need to take the chance with CA Dent works, I spoke to him on the phone and he sounds very confident, says I'm paying for the quality...I work in sales so I know BS when I hear it (it's what I do) and I have to admit I think I'm sold.

Sadly he won't be working until next week due to the holidays, so once completed Ill post up some pictures to let you guys know how it went.

Hoping for the best
I'd be interested in the before and after pics after you get the job done. I've been hearing good things about getting dents out, located in creases. Something I thought would not work out well. Maybe you just have to find the right guy.

Good luck

OUCH! Apartment complex's are the worst. I live in one(In Fremont) and I've seen kids just fling the car doors and hit the car next to them and the parents not even care/bother.
Id suggest going to a processional body shop and asking for a quote/opinion before you go to a "dent removal place".
And I hear you about the prices. Unfortunately out here in the bay its expensive to fix anything that involves labor.

had a dent just like in the same spot....crap if i knew they were playing tennis around my car
it was about 5 years ago. shop told me that they could get most of the dent out but it would not be perfect. it would cost 80 bucks. or to fix it right was like 300-500 bucks. i did the 80 bucks. it did not look too bad and i was happy enough with it. the car was 3 years old when it happened.

You gotta get it fixed or it will tick you off every time you see it. if you want it done right, spend the extra money period unless you can live with imperfection.

Who quoted you $80, and who quoted you the $300-$500. I'm wondering if these guys are still around.

Either way I agree, I already think about this damn dent every waking second, and because I love the car too much, I am just going to have it fixed, but I will take a shot with these dent removal guys first, hopefully it will all work out.

I had a BIL who worked the service counter at a GM dealer. After 10 years of hearing that question he was a mental wreck.

Does the $300 price include a guarantee? It may not, but if it does, then I'd proceed with their removal process. It comes down to experience. Not all these guys have the same skills and there's no way to know before they try. I wish you luck and keep us posted.

I have been the owner/operator of DentSmith Paintless Dent Repair for almost 10 yrs. now. I wanted to chime in on this discussion with you guys. Paintless Dent Repair has limitations due to access, paint conditions, severity of the dent, and the experience of the technition. Paintless dent repair is an art that is perfected in time, experience and alot of patience. As far as the quote of it being better for $80 or perfect for $300-$500, that sounds like a body shop quoting for a new paintless dent tech to do what they can for $80 or to repair it conventional (paint & bondo) for $300-$500. In this case neither will be perfect. A dent guy pushing this for $80 even if is able to fully repair will only do enough to get by because the money will not justify the time and when conventionally repaired the factory paint will be no longer in tact on that panel and the adjacent panels that are blended. My advice is to find a reputable Paintless Dent Repair Company that has references and understands your expectations. Any time you can have a repair done to your satisfaction by Paintless Dent Repair you are better off. This allows for the factory or in some cases custom paint to stay in tact which helps perserve the value of your vehicle, is typically less expensive than conventional repair, and requires way less down time for your vehicle.

Sounds like a great time to get both vented front quarter panels. I thought i saw someone on here selling them for $500 or $600 for the pair. I'm just ichen for an excuse to put those bad boys on.
