I feel your pain. I drive mine about once a week. 3500 miles on it since I got it home from Houston. I'll guess 500 of them are mine.

She loves doing the slow roll past the other soccer moms at parent pickup, and lunch with the girlfriends, and just "running to the store"

Oh and she's rediscovered she likes to race

Did you get the stick or the automatic?

BTW, the auto has 396 hp, the stick has 426.

So, now that we're all really, really confused, which one did you get?
Actually the Auto is exactly 400hp

We could not find a black G8, she likes black, within reasonable driving distance.

I finally coerced her into test driving a Camaro . . . got in a 2LT auto . . . she said it was "too powerful and therefore just too scary" . . . the V6 auto!

Kept looking for a G8 . . . just not one left out there. Wife said, "Well, we just have to buy a GM (brand loyalty and all) . . . so, she said, "Go ahead and get a Camaro . . . I guess I won't drive it much . . . too scary."

Got a call from a local dealer the morning of New Year's Eve . . . delivery truck just arrived with an unclaimed black 2SS 6M . . . hustled over to the dealer . . . not a trick about just coming in . . . I verified.

Took my wife to go see it . . . no trade in; we bought it since we just could not get a G8 . . . "settled" for the Camaro . . . I convinced her to drive the Camaro home from the dealer as a favor for me (and I followed in our old car).

Just two days later now . . . she has not allowed me to drive "her car!"

I said, "I thought the 6 cylinder automatic Camaro was too scary with all that 304 HP . . . this is 426 ponies and a six speed automatic! What gives?" She said, "I have bonded with the car on the trip home from the dealer!"

Uh, I have lost my SS Camaro dream car to my wife without even a test drive! The keys have yet to touch my hand! She did let me ride in the passenger seat yesterday . . . once!

Warning! Husbands, do not let your wife drive your car!

Recipricol warning: Wives, do not let your husband drive your car--the same may happen to you!
Better not let her take the Road King for a ride- then you'll lose 2 toys!!

Was the A6 a typo?
We bought the 426 hp manual 8 cylinder M6 SS RS model . . . she only test drove the 6 cylinder 304 hp automatic 2LT and thought it was too scary! I guess 426 hp 8 cylinder manual we bought is somehow less scary than the 304 hp automatic 6 cylinder she test drove!

You know the only solution, right?

Support GM again by buying another Camaro.

Funny story.

I'm in luck because the M6 prevents use of the car...
