Very pleased, and thank you again. What is the weight on these vs. the factory ones? Probably a slight weight savings as well.

No worries, MadMav, like I said we are here to inform and help!

FYI a set of OEM Camaro V8 engine mounts weighs in at 7.1lbs and a set of our Pfadt mounts tips the scale at 3.3lbs. Good point worth mentioning, thanks for bringing it up!

Aaron, thanks for the write-up, any chance you may do a similar type write-up on the rear diff mounts as well. Have been conversing with Brandon at IPS the past couple days and the engine mounts and rear diff mounts are on my DIY list.

You're welcome for the write up, we are glad to be providing them.

In regards to the rear diff bushing install instructions, I will make it a point to post them in this thread when they are ready. Look for these in the next week or two. Its a priority to make sure customers are clear on install procedures, so thank you for asking about them!

Hi robertway,

We read you loud and clear We very much appreciate your patience (along with many others') while we make sure to dot all of our "I's" and cross all of our "T's" for this Camaro coilover rollout. It is really a great product that unfortunately requires an appropriate amount of time to prepare for an effective product launch. Thanks again.

No problem Aaron, couldn't resist the opportunity to poke you guys. I'd rather wait for all the "I" dotting and "T" crossing to be complete than have something rushed out there just to bring it to market. With that in mind, any target date for the full set of suspension bushings. If that date isn't too far out I may just wait to do the sway/coilover/engine mount/rear diff bushings/suspension bushings all at once.

As an aside, to anyone that just read this last line, I am not saying anyone else has rushed something to market so please don't turn this into a pissing match.

Hey folks, I got my engine mounts a few days ago and have the car on jackstands right now getting ready to install them, the one question I have is what are the torque specs for the four pedestal bolts when putting everything back together?

Thanks in advance,

Robert

Hi robertway, 37 lb-ft is the correct torque value you are looking for.

Thanks, now that I look back at the thread I see where you specify 37 for the pedestal bolts, the PDF that I got from your site has it too but when you are trying to read the doc at breakfast with four screaming kids running around the kitchen you tend to miss some of the details.

Thanks again...

It was mentioned to me that since I have a set of longtubes on the car it might be easier to remove them to install these. What are your thoughts?

Absolutely no problem at all. We should revise this document to include a Torque value table like we do in our more recent install docs. This way people don't have to look through the doc text to revisit the values.
