Seems to be in my town there are no dealers willing to sell for LESS than MSRP... most are $1-2k more...

I paid $500 over for a Camaro. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. If it bothers you so much, call around.

Then the solution is to go out of your town. I ended up buying my car from Classic in Dallas because of the local dealers either not having allocation or charging over MSRP.

Take a trip man. Or order from another dealer and have it drop shipped.

My local dealer is $1300 below sticker on a ss and thats before discounts.

I really think I have to see the color in person. But I agree, I am saddened that not only did they limit it to the V6, but you can't get it with the RS package.

I think they are doing it directly because the majority of Camaros sold have the RS package, and they can probably milk out more profit with a non RS special edition as the RS components actually cost GM a lot of money from what I hear.

I, too, wanted a Synergy Green LE, but GM's limitations are keeping me from buying it as is. I have resigned myself to purchasing a 2SS RS Black and having a custom Synergy paint job done to it. I don't want to settle for the v6, even though it's an excellent engine, as I want the LS3 bare minimum.

Same thing happened to me here. I actually posted on the forums in the dealer section and literally within 2 days I had an OTD price that was about 10% off MRSP. It was 300 miles away, but well worth it
