No training is required to exercise your 1st Amendment right either, but here you are.

Quite right.

CC Permit holder here, I wouldn't want to be so armed without the good legal and practical information the required class provided. If gun owners won't use guns responsibly, then that 'well regulated' stipulation that's written right in the 2A is a logical recourse.

Dash Cam is also a very good idea.

You need a dashcam... sounds like attempted insurance fraud.

I had someone a few cars in front of me come to a complete stop halfway through a highway on ramp before it joined the Interstate from 50+mph due to road rage or attempted insurance fraud. Thankfully I was able to brake fast enough and didn't get rear ended but I laid on the horn and called 911 to give police the offending car's license plate and direction of travel. There are some crazy people out there!

I hate to stereotype, but multiple personal encounters and stories from friends force me to conclude that 9 out of 10 pickup truck drivers drive like they are using the massive truck to compensate for a deficiency of size in a certain area on their bodies.

Examples include:

- Almost changing lane into me.
- Crossing the highway last second.
- Cutting in line in car wash.
- Honking at me for not accelerating 0.0001 second after the light turns green.
- Pouring coffee on my friend's Miata at a stoplight.
- Doing a left turn right in front of someone's car going straight(no advanced left obviously)

That's why I wouldn't own something like a Miata in North America. Has happened to me as much when I am in my Camaro. Guess there is some truth in "if you can't beat them, join them."

Apologies to all the good pickup truck drivers here, but I am literally forced to think you are a-holes for my own safety.

Everyday, my opinion of pickup trucks gets ever so lower.

As others said, do not engage. Just know that eventually, dealers will engage them financially and they will get burnt. Hard. Many of those idiots have pea brains, have zero financial sense(as you would expect) and act so surprised when they find out their 100k+ trucks they financed lost like 50% of the value over a couple of years.

I own a Tahoe, do I fall into your guys pick up truck stereotype? I can honestly say, I don't drive any of my vehicles like an idiot or asshole. My Tahoe was not even close to $100k. It wasn't even $50k... Unless you are buying some limited model pick-up you are not going to pay anywhere near $100k for one. My Tahoe is over 3 years old now and has not lost 50% of it's value. As a matter of fact both pick-ups and Tahoe's, Suburban's hold their value better then any sedan. But.. Ya... Everyone has their own stereotypes I suppose.

As a driver of a big (half ton) truck which is lightly factory bro-dozed (I have a standard RST with the Factory Trail Boss 2" Suspension lift), I like to think that most pickup drivers are responsible and safe. I try to drive like that myself.

Engineering changes are one thing but Disruptive/dangerous behavior, coal rolling, modified exhausts, etc are all clues that the driver may not yet have grown up- or even intend to. Best to avoid so their cry for attention can be directed elsewhere.

I AM for the 2nd Amendment, and Americans using the right responsibly. Not sure what you're even advocating or if you've read the entire thing. Responsible gun ownership is a benefit to society. Dangerous, irresponsible gun ownership kills people. The 2A expressly calls for the former and in no way promises that the latter is to be protected.

You haven’t a clue on what the 2nd means.
