Beautiful engine. The side looks just like the mustang. And what does GM have that can come close to the Mustang Shelby GT500???

Unfortunately a lot of the GT500's power is negated by the weight of that thing. If the rumors are true and the Camaro pumps out 450HP and they are as serious about keeping the weight as low as possible on it, then the V-8 Camaro will possibly beat it.... The GT500's weight/HP ration is a heafty 7.8lbs/1 HP. If the Camaro comes in at about 3600 with 450 HP it will have an 8lb/ 1 HP ratio... it will come down to how well each car transfers that HP to the wheels and aerodynamics..... should certainly be a good race.

I don't know of any numbers, but I would really have to think that the BASE Corvette would be able to beat a GT500 in a head-to-head.... the Z06 would simply put it to shame.

I love the pick of the interior with the GM seat belt buckles. The metal buckles with GM on them remind me of some of the good old cars.

I agree 100%. I love the old buckles too. But, like someone else said, they will most likely get scrapped due to them heating up in the sun and people burning themselves. Never did like messing w/ those buckles in the hot summer days. OUCH!
