It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

If you are going to do your own oil change (and I always have) you need to use the OEM filter and keep the receipts.

RockAuto.com has them for around $5.50

You don't need to use the OEM filter. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act requires the dealer to provide oil and filter for you if they try to make you use OEM filters and oil. If they don't, you can use whatever you want as long as it meets the specs laid out in your owners manual. Just keep your receipts for the oil and filter, and also keep the filter box lid to write the date, miles, OLM %, and staple it all together, or keep it in a file.
