I ordered a maggie from ADM performance, I want to put back the stock cover, was it too much trouble to cut it down??

cutting the engine cover is very easy. Fabbing the mounting brackets to the correct height, angle, and placement...a little tougher but not bad.

I actually have a customer coming in a coulpe weeks to have this done. Once i figure out exactly what you have to do i plan on reproducing them.

With the rotofab covers u have to move some stuff including a water resevoir. Does any one have the diy?

wow 500 for an engine cover? Sorry but if you spend that much to cover up your engine then you need your head checked.

Did mine myself with patience. Deff worth a shot before buying the same thing for 500! U could buy another cover for 40-50 used so you can try it a few times really

We do offer aluminim engine covers specifically for this application. The mounts are TIG welded to the bottom of the cover and rubber mounting isolators are included. The covers do go on/off without the use of tools except for the fuel line side which requires the line to be disconnected as it does pass through the cover.
The small I/C coolant reservoir does have to be relocated to the driver's side and lines need to route in a way that they clear the covers.
We originally sold these covers to shops only, so we didn't create installation instructions at the time. We are currently looking for a local car we can use for this.
While many buy these covers after the install, it is easier if your tech can route the water lines out of the way during the initial install. It saves time.
