Sounds like something funky the Mopar folks are doing. The LS3 runs on all 8 at idle. Even the L99 with AFM leaves all 8 on at idle.

The only individual fuel injector shut offs programmed into the LS3 is for traction control or torque management.

The ECM can shut off all the injectors for things like - rpm limit exceeded, speed limit exceeded, coast down throttle closed... But individual injector shut off is only for the two conditions of traction control or torque management.

Unless there is a double secret artificial idle lope table somewhere hidden in the calibration.

You haven't looked at the spec sheet for the LS3 cam have you? Trust me with a duration and lobe centerline like that. It will shake a bit.
