Hey Tony, when the ride height was stock did you ever run the car hard with the 22's on? How did it feel/perform?

I LOVE the way they look, but my foots always on the gas, so I dont know how it would feel/perform. No burnouts though.

I ran the car hard plenty of times with the 22s on it. I could feel the additional weight of the wheels, but the car still performed well. The additional width of those rear 315 tires vs the stock 275 tires were actually better traction-wise. Either that, or these Camaros are just too slow in nearly stock form to worry about traction issues

how come no one makes 21".
I think that would be the best size.

21" tires are very very expensive and hard to come by. 22" tires are readily available and much cheaper. I feel sorry for those that have the 21" option when it comes time for tires.

Tony,
Where do you recommend getting tires mounted in Houston, South of I10? Please don't say Discount, I'm about ready to throw a tire through their window like the old lady did in their old commercials.

Sweet ride, I took some pics of it at LMR's dyno day, as well as the ZO6 and the Viper.

He's been mounting his own tires. I assisted with mounting those 22" rears...The people that do that for a living deserve to be paid more. It was a HUGE pain.

RipGear, as Will stated above, I have my own tire mounting/balancing machines in my shop. I've had good luck with Discount and Tire Max though, it really depends on who is operating the machines and how new the stores/equipment are. You might drive to a nicer store and ask for the most experienced installer, that is what I used to do.

OmniouSS, the rear lip measures out at just over 3.5" on the flat part, 4.0" if you add the outer curve.
