Bought the car solely for the early half moon tail lights, mail slot and the stick shift LS3

Many people say that the refresh lights were more accurate of the first gen, but I disagree. The 10-13 taillights are spot on with 67-68 RS rear ends. The refresh taillights are similar to a 69, but the only real similarity IMO, is that they’re more of a full line connected together, but that’s it.

It stands to reason that everyone will prefer the taillights they have on their car. Either because he liked them better when he was choosing his Camaro, or because he sees them so often and just got used to them. And other lights on other Camaros seem a bit "foreign" to him.

As far as I'm concerned and how I see it, it's interesting.

I absolutely love the Z/28, this car is simply a masterpiece! - So I like this latter model tail lights.

But I wouldn't want them on SS model anymore- there it doesn't fit me somehow.

But from what I hear from people passing by, the older taillights are 100% leading.
So far, no one has told me that facelift tail lights are nicer.
I have always been complimented for having an older model Camaro with older tail lights- they are said to be much nicer.

I agree that round is legit. The problem is that the 10'-13's aren't round.

To be honest, when the cars first hit the market, I was not a fan of the tail lights. When the 2014 cars came out, I liked those lights a lot more.

Now that I own a 2015, I'm beginning to appreciate the tail lights on my 2013 more.

I realize in the grand scheme of things, this is small potatoes, but just curious what everyone else thinks. Not interested in a discussion on aftermarket lights. Let's pretend these are the only two varieties available.

That is why i customized my look- Not for everyone though!! i am happy!!!

Everything about the original Gen 5 styling is better than the refreshes.

Disagree with you as I usually do. The hood vent is a huge upgrade in both looks and aero functionality.
