Interesting that he'd buy 2 2015 z28s. Maybe he needs a 2014 next!

Great car, would love to have it but... can't help think that a $5K profit on an 8 year old car you got virtually zero driving enjoyment out of is a bit of a waste. (assuming he paid actual sticker) And as an 'investment', I think you'd hope to have done better.

I concur. Monetary ROI is subpar at best. But Bullish on driving enjoyment. It's a Buy

I can't help but think he saw the one on Mecum go for $104k and thought he might get similar. Same miles, same color just 2014 vs 2015 and well Mecum vs BAT

I'm a casual lurker here on the Z/28 forum. It must be maddening (and rightly so) to see the Mustang GT's going for ludicrous figures. It sounds like if I'm really jonesin' for a Z/28, now's the time to buy...before the world wakes up to what a special car these really are.

Not to mention how that situation tells the story of what an SS is really worth. Both Z's and SS's might fare better in 25 years, but I don't have that kind of time left!

It hammered at $94k, total with fees was the $104,500
https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...=612777&page=2

So this $81,500 hammer on BaT with their fees is $85,575

Yes, we have been discussing this for a while. Not just Mustang GTs but Bullitts/350Rs as well. Not to mention from BMWM and other similar performance models.

We are not sleeping on this track monster.....
