Well I did so mi amigo, washed the car with soap before the clay application and then with water after the application. But the haze was like a gum on the body and it took me a lot of effort to remove it. I feared the worse swirl nightmareor even scratch from rubbing!

The effect is simply what the Ice soap can make. I dont recommend clay bar on metallic paints. A good quality soap like Turtle Ice is enough.

Did you use plenty of lubrication? That happened to me the first time I clayed a car and found out I wasnt using enough lube..Just a thought!
