Several have run 11.6 with stock heads and gears with the ss1vvt. So with your gear and heads. 11.5 if all goes well is definitely doable.
Kevin at gpi ran an 11.2 or 11.3 with the ss1, stock heads, and I think 4k stall he said. It did have skinnies and drag shocks though. |

Definitely the best result I've seen with that combo - that's awesome!

Thanks! Much happier with the car now. Worth every penny! I was thinking about selling it before the the cam swap.

I came to the conclusion while the 6th gen is a superior platform it is just a half measure. Meaning it and any of the new mustangs are just a useless backseat. If my tiny 4 foot 10 inch wife doesn't like the back of a 5th gen more than 30 minutes at a time what is the point of a back seat? Honestly I wish they would go back to a hatch like the 4th and 3rd gen. Thought it was more functional. Other than that for me you either go bigger into a challenger, only real useful rear seat imo in an American coupe. At 5 foot 8 I could drive back their for a quick hour or two at 40 but not much more than that but for someone small under 5 foot 4inches or so I think they should be fine on a longer trip. For me it would have likely been a c6 or c7. I like the hatch and I never have more than 2 people in the car anyways. I think you made the right choice! |
