We don't know, however it was there when she removed the gas cap. I have read that frogs are like mice, in a way. They can climb things way better than you think, they can squeeze into places you wouldn't think, and they are over all f'n stupid creatures....

I pulled the wheel and wheel liner off to check the fillerneck and did not see anything out of the ordinary as to how the frog would've gotten in there. But how long he was there for breathing in the fumes and still be alert and alive to make eye contact with my wife is perplexing.

Gas is a petroleum distillate not acid. If Frogs are anything like humans, most of their makeup is water. I'm pretty sure that frog is going to be well preserved in your tank, but if you are good with the risk, go for it. I can't say I would not do the same.

I found out now that there is an anti-siphon screen in the filler neck. I'm going to see about getting a flex grabber tool to put in the filler neck and see if I can pull it out.

I went out just now and used the tool I purchased off of Amazon thinking I was going to perform an abortion of some sort and pull out a frog limb by limb... but no it didn't happen. I did hit a wall at the end of the filler neck and each time I put the grabber in at a different position/angle... nothing grabbed. It came out clean and nothing gooey attached at the end. My guess is either the frog got out somewhere? Or it already dissolved within a few days time before the tool arrived to my doorstep. No way in hell it would've gotten all the way down into the fuel tank as a whole after hitting the wall with the grabber because the end of it was not dripping wet with gasoline. Makes me wonder now....

Ya, those are pretty cheap these days. I bought mine off Amazon for $100 several years ago and it has been worth every penny. Now they are probably half the price with twice the resolution.

They are literally like $10 nor less now, online. This one is $7.00:

Summitwhite11,

I have no idea why the thread wasn't showing, but I have opened it, and if another mod or admin had moderated it, I guess I'll hear from them.

Let me know if it disappears again, though I'm hoping the problem has been resolved by now...

There you go, but mine does have it's own screen. I'm not a fan of Chinese software on my phone.
