Got the new wheels and tires mounted today and bolted them up this evening after work. Took a short drive to get gas and my initial impression is the tires are much smoother than the nittos. Laid into it a from a roll in 1st and banged 2nd and she just barked the tires a little. I’m going to drive it to work tomorrow since it’s going to be 80 degrees. Here’s a few pics, I didn’t have time to clean her up.

Btw for anyone curious the 20x11 M017 with 315/35r20 Continental tire weighed 59.8lbs on a bathroom scale. Compared to the 20x10 Foose Legend with Nitto 315 weighed 74lbs on the same scale.

Has anyone else encountered this with these tires? Finally had some decent weather yesterday to clean her up. There seems to be a coating or something on the tires with the rears being worse than the front. I tried Adams and Mothers Wheel and tire cleaner with a tire brush. You can see in the 2nd pic I scraped some off with my nail.

So far the only negatives I've found is the sidewalls seem soft so you can feel some give taking curves. I'm going to try bumping the pressure up a tad. And aesthetically speaking I prefer the squarish sidewall of other tires, the Continentals are more round.

I'm amazed how they grip in the dry compared to the Nittos. So I tried a 2500-3000 rpm clutch dump and of course they broke loose but they grabbed while still in 1st and then just bark when I bang 2nd. With the nittos 1st and 2nd was useless with a clutch dump. My car is kinda boring now I'm going to have to add some power lol

And to show y’all I’m not exaggerating about the nittos. My car only has a K&N CAI and Borla catback with stock tune. This was on a 75 degree day.
