My 14 year old daughter rides all over the place from the back seat. If she can get back there a car seat will be easy.

I have my 3 month old daughter sitting behind the passenger seat I have it almost all they way forward with the seat almost upright. I have no issues taking them in and out (pulling ther 3 month old's car seat out and leaving the base in the car). My wife who is 5'8" and 115 lbs can sit in the front seat and ride with no problems.

Let me know if you need photos of the setup I have in the Camaro.

Hope this helps

It's pretty much the same for me, but I do have to move my seat up a little for my two year old to keep his feet off of the back of the seat.

One other thing to be aware of (at least for me), is that I have to move either front seat all the way up to get the kids out of their seat. I put one foot in the rear floor board and get good access to lift them out. It's not that big of a deal, but I have to adjust my seat back everytime we get in or out.

my 2 year old son fits just fine in his car seat as well...forward facing...it can be a bit of a bitch to put him in there (i'm 6'-2"), but he fits just fine. besides, to have the camaro, i can put up with the 2 min or less it takes to put him in

oh, and i put him behind the passenger seat.

i went to the Philly car show this weekend and in the parking garage I saw a black ss/rs with inferno stripes with a baby seat in the back. Still trying to figure out how the owner got a spot right near the elevators!

I put my 3yo in the back seat in a belt positioning booster seat, and my 5yo in the front in a booster seat. He still doesn't weigh enough to activate the passenger airbag so it's all good. and as for the marks all over the back of the seat....I take my kids shoes off and put em on the floor b4 I put the seat back.....then slip em back on b4 I get him out....no marks here

Here are a few pics of both car seats (rear facing) and (forward facing) in the back of my Camaro no issues I can take my one daughter out of the forward facing seat w/out moving the drivers seat forward I just lift the back up with the handle on the back of the seat.

Hope this helps

No problem my wife had me do a search on Camaro5 looking for posts about car seats in the Camaro before she said go get it she wanted to make sure they would fit in the car for a daily driver.

Good luck
Sean

My 5 year old fits fine back there for now... I give it 2 years before he starts complaining.

Hey, great thread! This has been a big debate at my house. I've got grandsons, 2, 3, and 5 yrs old, and grandma has been saying "no rides for them in that car, old man". "You'll never (safely) get a seat back there".

I got evidence now. Looks like the little guys are going for a ride.
