Just glad you and your family are OK,
BTY,
Do you have a dog? Vandals and burglers will tend to avoid a residence with a K9 on duty....

It is good to see your family is ok. Sorry to hear about your camera and stuff. Just think of all the experiences you will be able to have in the future with the most important person, your daughter. I will hug my girls when I get off this thread. You can never tell them you love them enough.

I wish you the best in the future.

Sorry to hear this, and sorry it happened to you. I hope it works out as far as the property loss, but I also hope you can feel safe in your home, too.

Yes. We have two dogs. But they're not big dogs. We have a pomeranian and a yorkie. The most those little dogs could do to protect our stuff and our house is bark and nip.

Time to look for a rottweiler or mastiff, One stupid burgler in Chicago was mauled by a malamute and the cops arrested him at hospital ER!!!

Im just glad they were gone by the time my daughter got home. Hopefully insurance will cover this mess.... Everyone needs to go and hug their kids and wish that this will never happen to you!!!
I feel for you, and I know exactly how you are feeling! back in october the same thing happened to me and my family, my 13 year old daughter came home from school and the garage door was open, when she saw this she did not go in she called me. When i got home I went inside saw that everything in my house was tore apart, what a sick feeling, but what made it worse was laying on my bed was one of our butcher knives, and i can only think that was in case one of us got home while they were still their, in this case that would have been my little girl. iv'e never been more upset in my life.Anyway get a good alarm system, and hug your kid. Thats what i did! Oh and by the way since then my daughter gets dropped off at my work after school, she no longer wants to be in the house alone and i don't want her to be.

OP, where in florida do you live? I left Orlando because of the crime. My truck got gutted in broad daylight in work parking lot at lunch time. Took the cops 6 hrs to arrive and write a damn report. I said screw florida and moved to Colorado. I got fed up. The apartment complex I used to live at used to get peoples rims stolen every night. Cops didn't do jack sh$t.
