yea i was kinda figuring that cost so thats why i asked him lol. i was like if i can get a good job done for like a hundred well then i am for sure going where he went

yeah i sure as hell wouldnt pay that much my brother in law did because he can afford to wipe his ass with that kinda of money lol.

I had it done at a guy who does a lot of furniture upholstery, but he does recover car seats and door panels from time to time. He is a small privately owned business but he does good work and prices are fair, it was his first time doing a head liner that had a design in it and he did a perfect job, i think the bill was $110.00 for new material and labor. my friend got 454 put into his headliner after me and it came out very nice too.very good price i thought. His place is called Darbaryle Upholstering in swift current, sask, canada. Putting SS in a head rest would be pretty cheap to get done there.

And it was not a leather or vinyl headliner, just regular cloth and i removed and installed the headliner myself.

If you want to make it a show car there are lots of forums out there for helpers. Otherwise you probably want to spend your money on add on's instead of the headrests. Only time you really want that is when your gonna present the car at shows etc.
