I have used 100% vinegar but the smell lingers for way to long but it cleans like a champ. if its really dirty that is the way to go, smoker grime especially. mixing it with distilled water is you best bet for general detailing IMO.

I have used the wand thing too on rear window, but i mostly use a damp towel and a dry one. Wipe them down and dry off.

I have never understood this concept. I tried it once, but the ink from the papers just made a mess of the windshield. It was no where near as effective as invisible glass or Griot's window cleaner which I am currently using.
I suppose it's user error.
