Do you think Chevy will offer a smoked glass option straight from the factory??

35% is Arizona's legal point for front windows, i know because i was pulled over for my tint which is 2% in the front.

lol that's weird:

6 reasons to tint your car
"accident protection: In an auto accident, tinting can help shattered glass hold together, protecting the occupants of the car."

who's right here?

In NC it is 35% all around on a car, which sucks. It is better than no tint though.

Law does vary from state to state but most have the optometrist loophole. If your eyes are sensitive to light (and of course all of ours are cause u gotta have tint on ur windows n this beast) you can go to ur eye doc and get a prescription which usually is good up to 35 % on all but front window in some cases u can get a little more but then night drivin becomes an adventure

Can't darken your windows at all in NH on the front driver or passenger windows. Buddy has his down awhile ago and was made to remove the film.......after paying his fine.

Beat Me To it..I was gonna post the same site.. seems like this topic comes up on every board i have been on.. BUT as stated in hist site the laws can change from time to time..so i would only use that as a reference.. check your state laws..

Yeah, someone needs to make smoked windows as an after market accessory. The good thing is that if your windows are down when your pulled over and the cop wants you to roll them up so he can see them, you have every right to say no and keep them down, in canada anyway.

That law is nuts. That means any car made today will not pass inspection. Alll new cars have 93-95% tint already built into the windows in the fronts. The new Mercedes now have tinted front windshields. That law is almost 20 years old. like most laws that old, it needs to be updated to keep up with technology.

i know in ohio its 50% but 50 % looks the same as not even putting tint on it. i always do my cars about 15% and i havent had any probelms.
