I've seen the sensors and chicklets mentioned several times and have only done a cursory search for the info (though I did read this thread and others).

Mine is #4767, so I'm assuming I don't have the sensors, right? As pointed out, my book talks about it, but I haven't seen it in action.

Will the dealership add this stuff after the fact? I'm a little confused.

oh wait...I misread. I do have the chicklets afterall, but I don't have the reverse sensors....

still confused lol

Does anybody have a picture of the rear of a Camaro with the rear sensors, and one without they could post? I'm not sure I know the difference between the two. Also, how exactly does the Rear Assist work?

There's an audio alert that beeps faster as you get closer to something.

You do know they come off right? They're just stuck on with adhesive backing.

Our first Camaro didn't have the sensors and our second one did, at first I was sad we'd have the marks on the bumper but now I really appreciate that we have them, they're a real lifesaver in crowded parking lots.

On the 1LT and 1SS without the sensors, does the rear bumper still have the dots?

My Camaro built in Feb 2010 doesn't have the chicklets and does have the BU sensors in the rear. Most people hate them, I guess they will pay off if they save me from backing into something someday. I'm glad they stopped the chicklets, I wish I had the perfomance sticker. I saw the sticker on Wednesday one someone elses car and though it was aftermarket. I wonder if you can get the sticker at the parts department? My dealer spent an hour and a half stripping the rear deck out after I read the manual and complained that the warning lights above the rear seat were not working. I'm glad that I read this post and have finaly resolved the issue. Thanks for the pictures, you all rock!
