That probably means it took three tire techs with three or more pry bars to force the sidewall down far enough into the drop center while mounting the tire. This is because the wheel is too narrow for the tire, they basically had to fold the treaded area to force it to become narrow enough to fit on the wheel.

If you're that worried about curb rash on your wheels, why didn't you just buy the wheel protection plan. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than those tires.

seems like a bad idea. Cmon wheel companies someone step up and make some replica wheels in wider sizes please. Im sure we could sell a few sets or 20

since we're on the subject of tire size on stock wheels, is 295 40 20 okay? its kinda too late to ask since I had em installed already lol but just for future reference.

We've got a group buy going on LS7 style wheels in 11x20 inch rears and 9.5x20 inch fronts, $1600....

FYI - Weldcraft Wheels can widen anything for a few hundred dollars...

I wanted to do this, however I don't want to run the hub adaptors/spacers. I want the correct wheel width and offset. This is why the LS7 group buy is perfect for those who like the OEM style wheels. They really look like the OEM's but broken out for the wider width. This is my take on the design inspiration...

This reminds me of MC Guys (me included) putting Car Tires on the rear.
We call it Darkside (some call it Dorkside - whatever). Proponants and
