wow -- lots of speculation -- not a lot of facts.

Let me say this:

The ride to Indy just to meet all of the Camaro/Firebird enthusiasts and hang out with them is worth the trip. -- and then there are all of the enthusiasts' cars..............that makes it even MORE worth the trip.

Everything else is gravy.

(how often do you get to talk to a Camaro engineer???? -- or a designer???)

and I'll be up front with you -- we are not going to unveil an Indy Pace car at this event..........I'm not saying there will never be another Camaro Indy Pace car -- ..........

Whoever goes pleaseeeeeeeeeeee take a ton of photos and maybe some video if possible. Please have a Aqua Blue and Inferno Orange SS on display(crosses fingers).

As of now, I am fairly sure we won't see an SS/RS unless someone is keeping a REAL good secret.

Don't skip out just because...shoot, I'm spending over a grand for this trip and know it'll be worth every penny...meeting people, seeing cars, getting to ask questions (I know you have a few and will be able to ask the designers THEMSELVES), etc.

I thought that was going to be one of the main events! Whew! If I had driven all thay way from So. Fla. and no SS/RS to see I would have been extremely disappointed. I guess all these threats of Hurricanes may have saved me money and mileage on the ole SS.
