If I can find the video link i'll link it.
Its the same concept they use in racing to burn in the brakes to get them worn in and also increases braking performance.

Edit:
This one is for those who like to read: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_bedinstock.shtml
This one if for people like me that like videos: http://www.essexparts.com/learning-center/Bed-in

I just drove it normal. Do yours creak in the instant as you release and stop but that's it?

Performance brake pads squeak. There is a trade off in braking compounds. The quieter they are, the less stopping power they have. For the Camaro, they decided to put priority on stopping power, so the pads are a bit noisy.
So, it appears to a casual observer that the simple solution is to make sure you rev your engine as you brake (preferrably with the clutch held in of course) then the roar of all those ponies will drown out the squeaking.

If interested google it to find out the benefits, consisted of 60-5mph braking extremely hard about 6 times.
Yah that is basically what I recommend too. They will glaze up and become too smooth. You just need to "burn" off that micro glaze layer by hard braking.

Mine hardly ever squeaked - maybe once or twice in 4200 miles. Never heard a peep out of the new Stillen rotors and Hawk Ceramic pads...(only a couple hundred miles)

Mine don't squeak at all and never have. I guess I'm just lucky, now that I've said that they'll start squeaking! LOL I've got about 2000 miles on my car.

Mine don't squeak, mine scream! Seriously though the noise coming from my brakes wakes the dead, but it might have something to do with the fact that I am running DTC-70 racing pads
