it was a rare problem with the first couple batches we produced. We haven't heard a single complaint since we tweaked the design a bit.

Just installed CAI Inc. on my L99. Noticed improved throttle response. The box sits on driverside wheel well. Have not seen it mentioned yet, but, when installing box noticed screwed in cover underbox going to wheel well. Would not make since in rain but what about opening it up in dry weather with a screen to let it draw from wheel area? Anyone else notice this yet?

If I keep my baby I will get a CAI.
But for now, Do you think a K&N filter will help?
Has anybody bought one? I have not looked at the OEM filter yet.

Why would you spend $280 on a K&N when you can have a MUCH better one for about $20-70 more?

I think he is referring to getting a K&N factory style filter to replace the stock paper ones.
