An hour of that V8 is like music to your ears.

If you are referring to that Blue Vette, it sounded almost like Ferrari. We were standing right behind it at Kmart when he was revving it.

We had a great day

Although it was a drizzly day (and the cops were out in FORCE) it was still a good meet up and cruise. You had a good idea Dennis! I was expecting SRT Challengers not, STR Neon’s. LOL! The guys were cool though and the Vettes were very interesting. Especially that blue one.

After we left you guys in Raymond the drive got really rainy but, was still fun. Ruth took some video with her new Canon digital camera and some pics as well. We took a wrong turn at the split to go to Astoria and HWY4 that goes back to Longview. That was cool though because we found this really neat old covered bridge and of course drove the Camaro over it. http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/vid...v=337718462957 Then headed back towards Astoria.

Once we got into Astoria we got some coffee and hot chocolate and headed over to Fort Stevens. Checked out the beach and the Peter Iredale shipwreck. After that we checked out the rest of the park and headed over to the Astoria Column. Got some really cool pics there. Picked up some souvenirs and headed back across into WA. Coming back through the SW corner of WA we had a guy in a '90s model Vette fly around us and then come flying back the other way after about 20 minutes. Then a half hour later we pass another 5th gen Camaro going the other way. Very interesting drive even with the weather.

We saved the "bubbly" until we got back home. So we sipped our Champagne while looking over the pics and video from our day of meeting up with a fellow Camaro5 member, then another meet up with a group of people for a drive and then heading across the border into OR. Although I pretty much peeled off and did my own thing it was still cool to meet other who are out cruising the countryside. Happy Motoring everyone.

PS: I'm really looking forward to the cruise to Winthrop in May. It will be a blast.

At about 1:50 the screen is black and all you hear is the engine and gears shifting. That's what I was referring to. Love those Vettes too!

I wanted to thank everyone who showed up. I personally had a great time. Turn out was a lot smaller then usual but Im sure weather had a little to do with that.

It was great meeting some new faces and I hope to meet a lot more as the year continues on and weather gets better.

In the future I would also love to have more great car entusiasts like the ones from this community come to some more of our gatherings, so I will post invites here so you wont have to crash the party.

I wouldnt mind crashing a few of your meets as well as long as you dont pick on the NEON.

*Looking at some of the pictures we all should have followed you out to Astoria.
