Some of us (I'm one) are lucky enough to be related to GM employees in such a manner as to qualify for GMS pricing. I don't have to wait for the "employee pricing" special. When I said previously that I would be using my GMS discount, that's what I meant. I can't speak for anyone else.

This is the first time they had employee pricing for everyone (since 2005)....I wouldn't count on it anytime soon in the future. Not to mention, they pick which units they offer it on.

Unless sales really go down the potty....They are they giant, they can do what they want.

If they do employee pricing again when the camaro comes out, i dont think it would pertain to the camaro, I think (dont hold me to this) but camaroscotty said that it wasnt on the malibu.

This is pretty much the best way to do it...

Unfortunately, we can't give out GMS discounts to non-family members. And they are VERY strict about this policy. Some employees have even gotten all their remaining GMS discounts taken away for doing so.

However, we can give out GMU discounts to non-family members, which I believe is invoice pricing, if I'm not mistaken.

They are pretty strict about it. I gave it to my girlfriend even though she's not "family".... yet... but definitely something I wouldn't just to for anyone else that is not an actually a family member. I do know that it can only be given like a max of 10 times a year or something.

Yeah the GM supplier discount can be given to friends which isn't as good as the employee discount, but it's something. Hey invoice pricing works too...

Man this steak has no fat left...

(production cost, dealer cost, sticker price, dealer bills, profit tiny).

And I hardly think asking the people you asked is going to get anyone excited.

If I made a shoe for 20. Sold for 25 and you wanted it for 19 would I want to be like "oh yea let me extend that for ya i'll just eat this air sandwidch".

I was planning on using the college graduate discount this summer since I got my nursing certificate in July of 2007, but was just checking the rules and I'm not sure if I qualify. It says you must have "1. Evidence of enrollment in an associate, undergraduate, nursing or graduate degree program." or "2. A diploma dated no more than two years before the vehicle purchase or lease, from a four-year bachelor's degree, a registered nursing degree, a two-year associate's degree or a graduate degree program." Since I have a certificate in Practical nursing or LPN I don't know. I guess I could try it and show them my certificate and maybe the dealer won't know the difference. I was just checking the prices and it looks like only a $700 difference anyway. If not maybe I could just enroll in the RN program since I was thinking of doing it anyway since it says "enrolled" for nursing and not graduate, but there may be a waiting period to get on the list...

Sometimes members of Credit Unions and other organizations qualify for supplier pricing, which is close to invoice. Check around and if you are eligible my dealer in Wilmington accepts supplier pricing on orders, if you don't have one closer to home that will.

I got a PIN number for supplier but no locals will honor it. Sadly the closest dealer to me is a crap Hendrick dealer where everything even left over 06 trucks ...yes 06....are marked up.

I figure since my tax dollars are building them the least they could go is give me supplier...funny thing is I can get X plan on a Slelby GT 500 but all the ones here are 08 and early 09 and I am not dealing with the TSB mess on them.

GM has supplier pricing on their website for the Camaro using credit union discount. I just looked. Now if my dealer I ordered from will honor the credit union discount, I'll be happy.
