The 5th gen has a design that is gonna bring it out of people. Every opinion I get is a strong one, regardless if its good or bad. And that had alot to do with why I love the car so much. I love cars that provoke emotion. IMHO, if any car that drives by just gets an "eh" out of people, the designers did it wrong.

As far as 4th gen owners go, just remember that alot of people recently sold their 4th gens to get a 5th gen.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of these newer owners aren't so much Camaro faithful as they are owners that picked up a second hand car at an affordable price. Might have just as easily been a Mustang or something riced out if they didn't get a 4th gen.

As far as my experiances go, my brother-in-law owns a Firebird and he loves my car. A coworker of mine owns a 4th gen Z28 that would most likely blow my car right off the road considering the mods he has, and he drools over my car like I'd drool on a naked Jessica Alba. I get nothing but positive from everyone at work to be honest, Even the guy that owns the Goat, and I'd kill people to own his car..lol.

Don't be hating on the 4th gen owners. I like to break the 4th gen owners into two categories. Those that have clean maintained rides and those that are beaters. Remember, these 4th gen cars are 8 to 17 years old. If yours is in fine shape you hate to sell it to buy the 5th gen. And if its a beater you are probably spending a lot just to keep it on the road and can't afford a 5th gen, hence the anger factor. Some of us have both 4th and 5th. The best of both worlds. No doubt about it, you got to love those fiberglass panels. What door dings?

Honestly I get more thumbs up from 4th Gen owners than I do with 5th Gen owners I wave but I get the cold shoulder around here it seems like 5th Gen owners think they are the $hit.

Oh well

Tuff for Me!

I get nods for both my cars, well my car 2010, and my Wifes 1994 Z28... oh couldn't get rid of her B-day present. And we've kept it very well.

The first 4th gen i saw from our 5th gen gave us a thumbs up.

Since then, NO Camaro owner has even acknowledged the car...

I never get any reaction from any Camaro drivers unless it's a 5th gen..

I always try to wave and blink the halos when I see ANY Camaro on the road...it seems that the 4th gens are the least likely to acknowledge me...
Don't know why...

It sometimes is hard to tell when someone is just really proud of their ride in a respectful way or just a prick.

I think it depends on who's driving the 4th gen whether you get any respect. These days it seems to be a lot of teenagers or early 20-somethings driving the 4th gen FBodies. I have a 4th gen bird. I'm usually too busy taking in the beauty of the 5th gen Camaro to give a thumbs up. I'm also hoping to make the switch to a 5th gen Camaro in the next year.

I've gotten nothing but thumbs up as all the other camaro owners around here share the passion. I get the waves from corvette owners too.

My 4th gen and 5th Gen high five each other going in and out of garage. Haven't had any negative responses from either so far. Some days drive one and other one the rest of the time. My 4th Gen is daily ride.

i have a 4th gen firebird, and i always give all camaro's and other birds a thumbs up, despite the generation. but i agree with it depends on who is driving the car.
