I believe the solid black ones is what I asked for. I'm going to follow up by doing the RS taillight trim removal to complete the "clean" all black look in the rear.

haha your link took me to the same liscense plate frame I bought as well. The black one with Camaro in chrome.

Brett (the owner of Empire Motorsports) was at our BBK meet in February. Very cool guy. He takes his time and makes sure stuff looks perfect before he lets it out of his shop. He did several changes to stuff before I could post pics just to make sure it was 100%.

You may want to check and make sure you have all 4 plastic inserts behind your license plate placard. 2 of mine were missing and my plate rattles. I have to order 2 new ones.

I'll pass it on to the dealer because he told me if I wanted he could just install it when they do the bow ties so figured why not so I'll make sure.

I hope the ones that I'm getting on mine are the all black ones and not the black with the chrome surround but I'll call them on Monday just to verify and make sure. Shoot at the price you pay through the dealer for them they better be what you want right?

i see you keep mentioning the chrome tail light rings as the RS package tail light rings...i don't think they're limited only to the RS package. never really paid attention to the cars without the RS package, but i'm sure they have them too.

have you thought of getting them painted black or flat black instead of just removing them?

Well I was told that somewhere online you can track down painted black ones but I may end up removing these and painting them black then reinstalling them. Originally that's what I wanted to do but saw a video on youtube of a Camaro5 family member removing them on his red SS and it looked great. I may stick with the original plan and just paint them and reinstall them. And yeah I was mistaked on the chrome lenses, they do come on all of them and not just with the RS package.
