I think it looks incredible...and it's an extra layer of protection for the original paint.

Now I get it PWND. A matching "pinch" at the rocker panel. That might detract a little from the lines...or could enhance them. The freedom to do and try different things is a real benefit of this material.
Notice how I had them leave the horizontal bumper surface at the base of the grill CGM, instead of covering it. The Dale Jr version has all white, I had the freedom to pick exactly where the lines were drawn. That was definitely part of the fun of doing this project.

My wife could tell you stories about how I was going back and forth between painted stripes or vinyl ones. When I found this material and was thinking it would be better than vinyl for the stripes. But then I admitted that I felt like I was wussing out and that I really wanted to do the whole car. Bless her heart, she just said "Do whatever you want, dear." And boy am I glad I took her advice.

Gill fades right now are the Autotrim Design vinyl decal over the pearl white. I like them a lot from 10 feet away, but not so much from 3 feet or closer. I am considering swapping them for the SLP fades instead.
I think there is a 3 or 4 year warranty on the material (I need to double check that, though). But with the clear coat and paint keeping any UV from hitting the adhesive vinyl underlayer, I am confident it will last much longer than that.
