When I put the guards on my yellow, the car just seemed to lower about 2 inches closer to the ground....I also like the idea, IF you don't like them (just like putting on stripes) then take them off....no big deal !!!

I know I need something like that to prevent damage, but man, they just dont look like they 'fit' the car. Just looks odd to me.

Thanks, GreyGhost. I feared that to be the case, but wasn't able to confirm it on the Chevy web site.

I kind of agree with this.

I use to want them, but the more I look at them, the more they don't seem to fit. The front ones aren't as bad as the rear.

I do need them though, because I also went with the wider wheels. I haven't found any damage from small particles (stones, etc) but they would sure help with dirt and stuff.

We all have Camaro syndrome, I just suffer from the z28 strand.

Easy if you have a way to take the wheels off like a lift or a jack.

I installed my splash guards yesterday, I noticed that you don't hear the sand being kicked up as much.

I don't own a drill and live in an apartment building. How much would the dealer charge for installation?

I didn't need a drill to put mine on, just used the factory holes in the fender wells.

That's great to hear!
Everywhere I read people were saying they had to drill holes or remove wheels

You have an 4 screws that come with the kit they are optional to drill I did not and I did not have to remove the tires I did the install in a total of 20 minutes in my driveway.
