20% all the way around along with brow to A1 line ... No major problems seeing at night where I'm at. Most of the cars are running those Silver Star lights and seeing them is no problem...

I have 30% on the sides and 15% on the back and i can see perfectly out the back at night...make sure you tint your back window other wise it will look very weird...and if you dont want to then my suggestion is to not get the windows tinted at all...

I'll let you know on Wednesday when I get my windows tinted.
Is having front tint illegal in Alberta?, I was going to tint my fronts along with the back and sides of course, but a guy I know just got a 160.00 fine and I think you get demerits against your license to They look so sharp with blacked out windows but I don't feel like getting fined. There are only about 6 camaros in my city and I know the cops will be keeping an eye on me Unless I can get away with 10-15% Maybe just say they came from GM like that some cops know no different

I did 20% sides and back and a strip across the windshield (visors are useless) no problems with seeing aot at night. Here in the south you have to have some tint.

Not to hi-jack this thread, but do you have more pics of your car?? I've been considering adding those retro badges to the sides of mine as well, but haven't completely made up my mind.

I tinted mine 15% sides and back and a limo strip across the front about 4 inches wide. Looks great on IOM. The tinters brother runs a garage where they do inspections and he gave me his phone nu.when it is time to renew inspection sticker. I love the strip across the front as the sunvisors in this car are totally useless

I'm thinking about getting 30% - is this too dark for the rear at night?

I figured if it was, then I would go 30% on the sides and maybe 20-25% on the rear. Anyone have advice on how this would look? I want it somewhat difficult to see in the sides, but be able to see out the back at night.

uhm, just to let you know the % refers to how much sunlight goes through the tint. So 20 would be DARKER than 30. Not trying to make you look stupid or anything, just letting you know.

Hahaha, no problem. I've never tinted a car, so it's all new.

So, then I guess reverse those numbers somewhat. 15% on the sides, and keep the back at 20%

I'm planning on getting tint very soon, and was wondering the exact same thing about night vision out the back. So it sounds from people that even having 20% on the rear, visibility is okay. I'm also wondering how the auto-dimming functionality of the rear-view mirror (on 2LT) will be affected... but I doubt it will be much of an issue.
