He floors it. Smoke everywhere from the tires, the exhaust screaming, the tires searching for traction.

Then, a sound. What is that sound, I've heard it before? My mind searches to place it as he roars out from the green light.

Ah, yes, it's THAT sound. I guess he didn't notice the county police officer that was sitting on his back bumper. I have to wait for him to pull across the road in front of me to the right. I look over at the officer who has a GIANT grin on his face and gives me a thumbs up as I drive by at 25MPH.
