The trick is getting an SS with a manual. Then you can say yes to the two questions everyone asks!

Or just say "Nope, it's got a big-ass v6"

Tell them it's a V12. It's not like they're going to know one way or the other.

i dont feel a need to school anyone on v-6 or v-8. i always answer the question when asked nope it a v-6 with a smile and leave it at that. i bought the v-6 because i wanted it and if they think i should be driveing a v-8 then they need to by one themselfs or be happy with what they bought and not worry about what im driveing. my best coversations about mine are the ones just talking about the way it drives and looks. and when they tell me they would like to own one i tell them you won't be disapointed.

Omg, everyone says that to me.

I'd love to race someone with an SS with manual tranny, and see them stall the car and end up getting smoked.

And I'm only 18 and have an SS. Now how many people have a car like this at 18?

Not everyone that ask you a question is jealous. I've had people that I know could buy and sell me ask me that question. So I know being jealous had nothing to do with it. I think it's cool that they made the V-6 so cool looking that most people can't tell the difference and they have to ask.
