"Keeping up with the neighbors" The guy around the corner from me had a 69 Stang and at the time I had a 72 Chevelle. We had friendly runs at times whem we met on the road and with a blower he could slightly pull on me. A few months back as I pass his place I see he now has a Saleen in his driveway. So last week when I finally got my SS I stopped by as he was outside. Of course the first thing he says is lets run them sometime. Told him ok after breakin. Will let all know results.

Driving with my girl to dinner the day before yesterday, a Mustang Cobra was revving and trying to get me to drag with him...during rush hour...on a two-lane section of freeway.

Two days ago I was with my girl at a super market. There was a bunch of high school kids gathered around there cars that were next to mine. One kid asked asked if I wanted to race. He had an eclipse. I told him No thats alright, I wouldnt want to embarrass you in front of your friends. As I pulled away he yelled through my window that it has no balls man. I heard his friend say next to him dude you dont have a clue. HAHAHA! I hit traffic yesterday and this Honda civic with a body kit, giant wing on the back kept revving up his fart can next to me..I mean really..that is just playing with fire

what? that's precisely why people post on car forums complaining about being cut off! It's because of attitudes like this! Let jerks be jerks - doesn't mean we have to be one too.

I'm sure he felt like a big man that day.
some people paid money for their ego/self-esteem. Although, some of the statements made by camaro5 folks are dangerously close to being the same. Especially those who keep thinking that everyone is "jealous" of their Camaro.

I drive the speed limit and make VROOM VROOM noises!

I swear I hate that too! I can't never save gas by cruising because some tard in another muscle car wants to go at it just because I passed up doing 65!

Just like today, I was doing 70, and I passed a guy in a Challenger SRT8, instead of just ignoring me, he took it to heart and wanted to go at it, so he starts speeding, crossing from lane to lane, following me, then when I slow down and let him pass me, I get ahead of him again then he wants to do it all over again! Some people are so stupid, .....and have an inferiority complex.

Your missing the point. Its dangerous to sit in someones blind spot. If I have to buzz the line to wake them up big deal. The drivers sitting there are being jerks or they are asleep. Who said anything about getting cut off? I think you need to check your own attitude.

Wellllll, maybe you've just had a high concentration of this behavior and you are just now noticing this. I've experienced the same thing on a regular basis for a full decade and it didn't matter what I was driving - muscle car, sedan, coupe, pick-up. The offenders were driving all kinds of vehicles - muscle, sedans, coupes, pick-ups, SUVs, mini-vans. You're right though, a LOT of people are simply dicks with a "How dare you pass me" attitude.
