I'm sorry to sound nit-picky, but just in case, I believe Camaro production will begin in model year (MY) 2009 but actually be considered a MY 2010

More to your actual question, I am going to wait to see what Chevy can come out with for the 45th Anniversary. I originally, without thinking, was planning on a purchase in 2012 anyways, (mostly for money reasons and I'm crossing my fingers for a top-dog Z28) and I hadn't realized that it was actually an anniversary. I'm sure if I can not afford a Z28 that pricing and wheeling-and-dealing on SSs is going to be more reasonable and definately doable. Like was mentioned already, maybe more accessories and more performance parts will show up too, both GM (preferred) and aftermarket.

I don't really subscribe to the first year run being a guinea pig idea (because I've had a couple first MY cars and never had real problems) but that makes total since, especially on a car with a very new platform.

Well if I missed it then im second...otherwise, I think im the 1st person to say im a first-batcher....Oct 13th, I'm putting my order in, and when pricing and specific options comes out I will add or change. I'm not too worried about the bugs it may have being first model off the line, thats what warranty is for...(knock on wood)...but if there are problems, I'll gladly post up for those who wanna know before they buy...lol and I to would like to see the options coming out in the later years, but if I have something that is a MUST for me, then i'll either get the delearship to install or do it myself when given the chance. I'll admit, I have low patience and im just so damn excited about this car FINALLY coming out!...But hey, i'll gladly be the guinea pig...np...haha

same here ill be at the dealer on the 13th prob during lunch break haha or before work if they are open that late heck maybe even the 12th im good friends with the owner he has been my dads friend sence high school im sure he will hook me up

Well i will be getting one as soon as i can. Im hoping that will be march or april, depending on what the price will be of course. If it has any recalls ill just get them fixed and if 3.73s become an option i will just swap them out when they are available

I will getting one Spring of 2009. If there are any bugs they wil covered under warranty anyway. When you guys see Camaro's rolling around its going to be hard to wait, I guaranntee.

I'll be waiting until the HUD comes out - I've changed my find from convertible to Coupe / Sunroof/HUD.

Plus, I want a blue that's more like "Jinx Blue" or some form of Royal Blue Metallic. The colors will change for the 2D MY.

im probably going to wait 2-3 years so i can have a big downpayment so my monthly bills wont be that high and still have money to have fun.

I will be waiting till the 2011 comes out....not by choice I wont be in the states until then. Uncle Sam has pore timing, I want a first batch!

I'll be getting mine as soon as I'm able too. Hopefully Spring 2009.

If I have to wait a couple months it won't be due to anything I did. It's the dealers overpricing it, or not having enough allotment that worry me.
