Man, this has really thrown a scare into me. My car draws a crowd in the parking lots and now I am going to be paranoid they are out to damage it. The last thing I want is too have to mess with the beautiful factory paint. Real sorry the dipsticks do not respect your car and your service to our country.

Agreed. Videotape all the time. Is it when parked at home ? if so probably the same person(s). I would assume you have contacted the local POLICE every time for a report ? get copies of each one if you can.

Start a log of each occurrence dates times who was parked beside you, around you and the location of the vehicle. The time you parked, checked the car and discovered damage. See if you can develop a pattern, days of week, times cars parked beside you etc. All could become relevant when the time comes to prosecute.

If video taping pay close attention to how people react when passing your car. If they did the damage they will be back to look at it. They may even bring people back to look at what they have done.

make a list of people you have pissed off and why.

Planning to order a black SS and was going to have a classic flame job done by a guy in Huntington Beach (SoCal). But it's bad enough to have the factory paint keyed and screwed up, but expensive custom paint will make it even worse.

I had a lady door ding my car,her response " Why are you so upset, it's just a car" It took the paint off and dented it right in the body line. It was all I could do not to throttle her. After the threat of suing her, her work company finally paid to have it fixed. and Yes she was driving a rental car. Was a real bad day.

10 months and nothing so far on my car. Its parked in the garage at night and its pretty safe at work.

Is this happening in Norman Oklahoma?

Just wondering. I used to live in S.W. Oklahoma City and hung out a lot in Norman.

I think more than political it's just a sign of the times we live in. There are a lot of unhappy people in the world now a days that want you to be just as unhappy as them. I don't take mine anywhere that I can't keep an eye on it. It's a shame that's the way it has to be to keep something nice.

People do suck man. I hadn't even had my car a week and someone had hit my passenger side mirror hard enough to break the plastic casing in the front and pull the bottom out of the gasket thingy a bit. You would have had to have done it on purpose to hit the mirror hard enough and at the right angle to break it like it is.
