Can't get ahold of the owner yet to find out about insurance.

I'm sick...
That's horrible!!!!
Looks like they knew exactly what they wanted, and where to find it. This totally reeks of an "inside job".

I hope insurance comes through for you!

People are unbelievable... Sorry about that man, people like this deserve to be removed fro society. Some desert island somewhere with nothing to eat but the bugs they find, and nothing to watch except Ugly Betty...

That's terrible!! A tech's tools are his living, and none of it's cheep. I hope the sh*ts that did it get caught.

That's is a good looking box too with the Rat Fink style air brushing.

That's terrible. I'm assuming that you work at a dealership. Was there no alarm there?
Even though the tools are yours, the dealerships insurance should encompass everything inside the building as this is an obvious break and enter. You and the other techs should be given reimbursement.
Going to pawn shops are a good idea like others said, but sometimes specialty items like this will be sold by word of mouth. I'm not sure if you know any "less than honest" people, but if you do, they would be able to keep their ears open at local hangouts etc. A reward is a good idea if the insurance company won't help but my money is on that it will cover the items stolen.
Hope the rest of your weekend is a little better. Take care.

Hope you get your tools replaced.

Reminds me I better photo/inventory mine in case I get robbed big. I wouldn't be able to list everything off memory.

I don't have to lock my box at work.
