Good thing I got out of Illinois before you got that shiny badge, wouldn't want you writing me a ticket!

To the OP, I have yet to get a second look due to my lack of front plates. Where I am just about every other car/truck doesn't have one..

When I first got my car last april I was at work and had OSP come in and ask who's car was parked outside.my manager rolled her eyes she thought for sure she was working alone for the rest of the day .I said give me a break I have been here all morning. He had only stopped to ask how I liked it.I have been stopped 3-4 times and never have 0R OR CAL police said anything about plates,I still do not have any on my car.

I had a local LEO come over to the car at the gas station the other day. Happens I was headed to the track and had my laptop mounted in the car to log the runs. He was more impressed with that setup than he was with the car I think! hehe! Said his cruiser didn't have that nice of a setup.... LOL!

I think it is just the 2010 Camaro's.
My '98's been rolling around its whole life without a plate, and more recently in the 10 months I've had, I've not been stopped ONCE for not having a plate. And it's PURPLE too!

Having said that, I'm afraid to go to Downey. I know those guy'll pull me over for it.

It's call PCMSCAN. Right now, I'm having trouble reading all the PIDs I have assigned. The program DEVs are looking into it. Something else with this ECU that's screwy! LOL!

It would definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

My '81 Full Size Wide Track Jeep Cherokee uses a mounting bracket that goes under the bumper. GM parts Dept. should sell something like that for the Camaro.
I have been spending way too much time and money on that Jeep lately. It is too cool though my family doesn't understand it and my wife had me park it in the back yard so it couldn't be seen from the street.

All the cops I've ever known have been good people. Lots of respect for you guys and what you do. I just wish I could get this damn target off my back! Five speeding tickets in 10 years, plus a few for seat belts thrown in.

This is how bad it is...I once was driving home on the 22 freeway in my bland silver sedan. It was rush hour and the road was packed. The section I was in at the time was 5 lanes wide and it looked like a parking lot. I was in the center lane and traffic was stop and go. Mostly stop. A cop in a cruiser came across two lanes, hit the lights, and pulled me over through two more lanes of non-moving traffic all to give me a seat belt ticket. It was unbelievable! Thousands of drivers and he finds me in the dead center of the herd. Maybe with the Camaro my luck has finally changed. It sure felt that way this week.

Anyway, much respect to mrray and all the cops out there keeping us safe. Thanks for what you do.

You got pulled over and didn't get a ticket. You have implants?
At this point, implants would have been cheaper than all the tickets.

I'm sensing a really good story there, Stacy. Care to share?

Drivingcomfort.com has one that mounts under the front bumper
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I feel for the cop, our cars aren't setup like that either!
